Roofs we've done

Every photograph on this site is a roof we worked on. There's no stock photography anywhere, which was the first thing wrong with the old site.

Rated Excellent5.0 from 3 Google reviews

Most of these are before and after pairs of the same roof, which is the only honest way to show this work. A photograph of a finished roof on its own tells you nothing about what it looked like when we got there.

None of them carry a date. They came off our Facebook page and the upload strips it, so rather than guess at when each one was done we've left it off. The storm set is December 2025 because we remember that week well enough.

Before and after · Bethanga

Corrugated roof repainted in Monument

Brick home with gables and a double garage, gum trees behind it. The roof was a faded green corrugated that had gone chalky and uneven across the faces.

Washed down and recoated in a dark charcoal. There's a close pair here of the same section of roof, green then grey, which shows the change better than the wide shots do.

Damage

Storm damage, December 2025

A hole punched clean through the tiles to bare timber battens, with daylight going straight into the roof cavity, and broken tiles scattered across the field around it.

One frame has a tape measure laid across the opening, which is what an insurer wants to see. They were taken before anything was cleaned up.

Before and after

Concrete tile roof repainted off-white

Brick veneer home with a palm on the skyline and a timber picket gate. The tiles were dark, dirty and weathered, with the ridge pointing visibly gone in places.

Finished in a uniform pale off-white. There's a matched detail pair of the same tile field, filthy then clean, and a frame showing the terracotta ridge pointing before the coat went on.

Before and after

Sandstone homestead, corrugated iron

Long, low sandstone block homestead with a full width verandah and a hedged garden. The iron had gone chalky and weathered right across it.

Cleaned down and finished in a mid grey. An older building like this is the sort where getting the colour wrong is very obvious, so it was worth taking time over.

In progress and finished

Rural property, several buildings

A substantial rural property with a modern brick home, a raked gable and a big brick chimney, plus sheds and outbuildings, all in dark charcoal corrugated.

One frame is mid works with a section of sheeting off, showing the timber underneath. Not every roof on a place like this needs the same treatment and they get assessed separately.

Finished

Rebedding and repointing a tile ridge

Cream and tan tile roof with the ridge capping taken off, rebedded and repointed. The fresh brown capping runs the length of the ridge and down the hips.

This is the job the drawing on the cost page describes. From the ground when it's done it looks like nothing much happened, which is exactly the problem with pricing it.

Before and after

Red corrugated roof taken to off-white

Long brick home with a bay window and verandah posts, under a bright red corrugated roof. The before frame has the gear and drop sheets out.

Finished in a pale off-white. The two frames are shot in very different light, so trust the roof rather than the mood of the photographs.

Before and after

Lichen encrusted tiles, cleaned and coated

A tile field completely encrusted in blue green lichen. Not a handsome photograph, but it's the clearest evidence on this page of what actually comes off a roof.

Treated, washed and finished in a clean mid grey. Lichen is the reason a coat put straight over an unwashed roof doesn't last.

Finished

Terracotta tiles restored, with solar in place

Terracotta tile roof brought back to a strong red, with the solar array still on it and palms behind.

Working around panels is a real question people ask before they ring. It's done regularly, it just needs to be in the quote rather than found on the day.

Before and after

Weatherboard cottage, roof in green

White weatherboard cottage with a brick chimney, under a rusted and patched galvanised roof.

Finished in a soft green. This is one photograph, stacked before over after, and Lewis put it together himself before anyone asked him to.

Finished

Heritage red roofs

Older homes with deep red roofs. These sit apart from the jobs above because the grouping is less certain, so rather than file them under a guess they're shown as their own set.

If you want to see something specific, a roof like yours, a colour, a tile profile, ring us and we'll find it or tell you honestly that we haven't photographed one.
