We come out, find the damage and make it safe, and you get a quote to give your insurer. You lodge the claim. Your insurer decides.
When you make a claim on storm damage, your insurer wants to know what's damaged and what it costs to put right. The second half of that is the part we can give you. You get a quote for the repair work, and you pass it on with your claim.
We're roofers, not insurance advisers, and we want to be clear about where the line sits. We don't lodge claims, we don't deal with your insurer on your behalf, and we can't tell you what your policy covers. What we can do is get up on the roof, find the damage, make it safe, and price the repair, so whoever does decide has a real number to work with.
Most insurers want a quote for the repair before they will settle a roof claim, so they can see what putting it right actually costs. We come out, look at the damage, and give you a quote for the work. You pass it on with your claim. Your insurer decides the rest.
