Albury is the biggest spread of roof types we work on. Lavington is mostly tile from the estate building of the seventies and eighties, Thurgoona is newer and leans Colorbond, and the older streets closer to the centre have terracotta worth restoring rather than replacing.

It's far enough that we won't drive over for a look at one roof on its own, but close enough that it's never a problem to fit in. Send photos and an address first and we can usually tell you on the phone whether you're looking at a clean, a restoration or a repair.

What the roofs are like in Albury

Lavington tile
Estate housing, concrete tile, and by now the pointing on most of it's at the end of its life. This is the classic rebed and repoint job.
Thurgoona Colorbond
Newer, and the failure is different. Chalking on the north face, and rust starting at the screws and flashings rather than in the middle of a sheet.
Older terracotta in town
Do not let anyone talk you into coating terracotta that doesn't need it. Often the right job is replacing the broken tiles and putting the ridge right.
